CHUGCHILAN . . . ECUADOR

Next stop was even higher up in the Ecuadorian Andes. on our way out of Quilotoa we saw a drunken man drift of into the Andes draped lifelessly over a donkey surrounded by his laughing children. The following morning we decided on going on a horse ride up into the high Andes and to visit a rainforest over the other side. Jye somehow forgot he was allergic to horses and as a result his eyes swelled up and to top it of fell terribly ill, poisoned salmonella style by some rotten eggs. Ive never seen anyone so sick, he must have lost 10 kilos in 2 days and had to go on a drip, shitting his pants and throwing up anything he put down his throat for 48 hours. It was a splendid ride though.....

GREAT DAY! EXCEPT FOR THE FRACTURED ARM.... VIDEO BY FRENCH!

ECUADORIAN ANDES. QUILOTOA.

I have  very thin wire for cities now days, so as soon as our luggage was returned we jumped on the first bus we could deep up into the heart of the Ecuadorian Andes. Quilotoa would be our first stop. The countryside was breathtaking, the air was thin and the effects of high altitude taking effect. Everything about the land we passed in the bus seemed drenched with adventure and my insatiable appetite for the mountains was slowy being sedated. The people, the clothes, the crops, the houses everything was so new to our eyes. Once the bus dropped us of we scampered upto the Quilotoa Lagoon with all our belongings and sat in silence, one of the most incredible sights my eyes have ever seen. After watching the sun fade out to the west disappearing behind the Andean mountain range behind the lagoon we found a nice little family and a modest room to spend the night. At over 4000 meters of altitude we would have a tough night sleep ahead of us......

GYPSY LIFE 2. THE BUBBLER CHRONICLES PART 1!

Video filmed over a 1 month trip in Australia in February 2012.
Water fountains are colloquially referred to as bubblers in Australia, hence bubbling is the art form of pissing in ones mouth or facial region. The first bubbler I ever witnessed was performed by Middy Crossing aka The Bubbler. I saw this man perform the epic maneuver in the most extreme conditions in many different states of consciousness, even defying sub zero temperatures to bathe his face in his own urine. Since that day the bubbler has spread in plague like proportions worldwide.

QUITO . . . ECUADOR . . .

It was middle of the wet Australian winter and time had come to embark on a 2 month trip to South America. Ecuador - Colombia - Peru. 3ish weeks in each country meeting up with a different range of homies along the way.
First leg of the trip Jye and I hit Ecuador which we had heard many magical, mysterious rumors about its rugged, mountainous countryside and is home to one of the oldest sketchiest parks in all of the continent.
First flight delayed and some 24ish hours and 4 planes later we had arrived. It was difficult to do to much as the air was to thin, Quito being at over 2,500 meters above sea level is already higher then the largest mountain in our homeland. When we arrived our bags/boards had never arrived and to top it off our beds in the hostel had been given away.... we were not off to a good start.
