Fishing & Beer, What else is there?

A year ago today we were suppose to be somewhere in between Sydney and Melbourne on a skate trip getting silly, but I broke my arm the day before we were suppose to leave. So we decided to stay around Sydney and do a multi day hike through the Royal National Park located on the Southern outskirts of the sprawl.
The hike we did was the 'Coast Track' and is a 26km hike following the incredible coastline with huge bluffs, empty beaches and even pockets of litoral rainforest. We took our time spending 3 days doing the walk so we could really enjoy it and explore off and around the track diving in and out of waterholes and just enjoying the raw nature. Amazing spot that you can literally take a train from the centre of Sydney to Otford, jump of the train walk the track, take a romantic ferry ride from Bundeena to Cronulla and a strange train ride back to the shitty.
All photos were taken with the legendary little film camera i found in Peru.

BALI. INDONESIA.

One day at work I was about 30 meters up in a big Eucalyptus tree, getting pissed on all afternoon by cicadas, slaving away in the Australian summer and wanting out. My girlfriend was going to Bali the next day for her Dad's 60th birthday, I wanted to go badly but tickets until this point were through the roof expensive as it was a week before x.mas. I cracked a beer to forget the day that had passed and thought 'fuck it' one more check of skyscanner and boom $450 return, a lot less than half price of what t ha been. 16 hours later I was on a plane on my way to Bali to meet my girlfriends legendary family.
Sophie was actually there to surprise her Dad who she hadnt seen in over 6 months, because they live on the other side of the Australia and it takes 5 hours domestic flight, followed by a 3-4 twin sesser flight to get there. We surprised her old man and the 'Arak Attacks' flowed hard, leading us to some weird trans sexual karioke bar. Robert (Sophies Dad) was dragged onto the stage and the trannies all danced around him and sung him a very very Mr President style happy birthday. The strangest part about the whole ordeal is that for some reason some freak had taken their children there too.

SYDNEY TOWN SIEGE.

Cant believe the siege in Martin Place. Spent most of my teenage weekends there skateboarding and its  shame to see something like this happen. Anyways these film photos were from about a year ago when i ventured down to visit my little lady friend.

BONNY HILLS. FIRE COOKING.

One of my favorite tings to do come the weekend in Bonny Hills is to have a big fire. Roasting a whole bunch of tings wrapped in alfoil, soaked in olive oil and garlic and sinking Coopers and some Rum always produced some intense laughs with old Warnsy. I have no recollection of which night this was, but by the looks of it we were having a hell of a time.

DORRIGO. AUSTRALIA. DAY 3.

Last day was spent going the wrong way around the most prominent walked track in Gondwana National Park. the film got blown out but the effect is kinda cool. We saw 2 Liar birds, had a good naked swim in a waterfall and marvelled at the monstrous trees. Dying to get back up there. If your ever driving North to Byron Bay from Sydney of vice vera be sure to divert off to spend at least a day or 2 Dorrigo!

DORRIGO. AUSTRALIA. DAY 2.

A spectacular 3 hour hike through some pristine Tall wood and Rain forest got us to Cedar Falls. After a naked swim and sleep we woke up to a huge black and orange storm rolling in. On the way back the bush literally went dark as night, if I had a torch it could have been used. We reached the car and then the hail began...... I quickly ripped the poor oold Nissan patrol under a tree, although one side of the car got anhiliated by the golf ball size hail. It was damaged to the point that the car was deemed to be unfixable and the insuarnce company gave us a pay out...... So what else to do? Dorrigo pub ofcourse.

DORRIGO. AUSTRALIA. DAY 1.

This trip was for Sophies birthday a year ago. She hadn't really been to a rainforest before so I thought I would buy her a ticket to Coffs and wizz her up for an weekend amongst the huge trees, Liar Birds and many waterfalls that Dorrigo has to offer.
We made a big ass fire under shelter as the rain roared outside. Smoked a mandatory camping joint, laid down in the hammock to test them out, passed out and wok up at 7am.

TROUT-TOPIA, NIMBIN. AUSTRALIA.

Troutopia is heaven. It is based just outside of Nimbin surrounded in pristine nature and pastoral land. Big Erik Cole had done himself a mischief, slamming on his hip multiple times on the first day of the trip (and repeated to do so after this photo a couple more times). I cant remember any fine details from the trip although I remember a few stories from Danger Dave. He elaborately jumped around with a beer in his hand telling with mouth and full blown body language about when he lost control of his car shooting it off the side of a cliff and lived to tell the story. I could never tell it as well as him so if you ever come by the bloke, ask him yourself.

SYDNEY FOR A WEEKEND. AUSTRALIA.

Went skating with all the boys out west to some really amazing ditch spot. Kiril nearly noseblunted the shit out of it. It was also my mate Jyes birthday. He's a bit of a cool guy these days. It was a Sunday night so there wasn't much to do so we took him to a raging gay club in-which he got his shirt ripped off and molested (willingly) by many a sweaty man. Happy birthday ya dickhead. Ok this is stupid now this is like 14months behind.
